About
I’m Amanda, The Ever Hopeful Gardener and my goal is to inspire regenerative gardening love through education, humor and demonstration. I am working to build a community of trust and gardening joy.
I have been gardening for 17 years and my gardening style and goals have evolved over the years. I have become a strict a no spray gardener who believes working with nature instead of against it yields better results.
I was introduced to Insect Frass as a plant food in the summer of 2022, and after conducting several growing experiments I fell in love with how well it worked. Blooms were bigger, root systems were stronger and plants had more vigor. I especially loved that Insect Frass does not have an offending odor like fish emulsion, but fed the soil which in turn fed my plants. Once I discovered insect frass to feed my plants and garden, I knew it was a product I wanted to share with other gardeners. And so, Kickass Frass was born.
I believe that gardening does not have to be all or nothing, but rather can meet the gardener in the middle. We can have lawns AND native garden spaces, we can leave some leaves AND clean up others. Insect Frass allows you to feed your soil, in a natural way that helps you maintain a naturally balanced ecosystem in your yard and garden.
